Families Living in Recovery (FLiR) is a consortium project formed by The Living Room, Relate (London North West & Hertfordshire) and Family Lives. We have come together to deliver Hertfordshire's Drug and Alcohol Community Rehabilitation Service 2019 – 2029, starting on 1st April 2019.

FLiR provides free, abstinence-based rehabilitation treatment to adults in Hertfordshire who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. We take a family-approach to rehabilitation by offering structured group work and individual counselling support for individuals, families and carers affected by addiction.

Our approach supports ongoing abstinence in the community and enables individuals to re-integrate back into society and reconnect with their family. We operate from our treatment centres (and local venues) in Stevenage, St Albans and Watford.

FLiR works in partnership with Spectrum CGL, which provides Hertfordshire’s all age drug and alcohol service from 1st April 2019.
